About the Association

The Wedding Car Association began shortly after the issue of the first special-purpose vehicle licences for weddings nearly 30 years ago in 1980.
To become a member of this association, operators must be fully licensed and offer vehicles and service of the highest standard.

Each operator must be a signatory to the code of conduct rules, ensuring that only the best and most professional hire car operators are entitled to display the Wedding Car Association logo.
The variety of vehicles offered by members is quite extensive, from classic to modern, sedans to limousines and all in a huge range of colours.

If you require only the best on your special day, hire from a company displaying the Wedding Car Association logo to give you the piece of mind that comes from knowing your vehicle hire requirements are in the hands of proven professionals.
You can be sure an association with the highest of principals backs the quality of service and presentation.

Considering Using a Friend or Relative's Vehicle for the Wedding?

Please Consider:
- Is the vehicle proven, reliable and safe?
- Will it be restored in time for the wedding?
- Is the owner a 'Chauffeur' or just a 'Driver'?
- Will the driver want to drink on the day?
- Can you stop him/her?
- Can he/she be trusted to arrive on time?
- Is there back-up support?

AND is it worth the hassle?
